Compact Data Works offers an alternative to using a terminal emulator to access VMS systems. A terminal
emulator provides a comand line interface for logging in to a VMS system to monitor or administer the
system. An explorer style graphical user interface provides faster access and much greater visibility using
point and click mouse actions. Our NetExplorer software provides an explorer style interface for accessing
multiple VMS systems from a single Windows computer.
